Who's ready for lots of brand new Krafty goodies?!
It's time for our August Release Peeks to begin
Today we have an amazing book and tea lover set
designed by Michelle Houghton,
and it's called.....LOST IN A BOOK!
You'll find lots of book images as well as a sweet teapot and cup and several awesome quotes in this set!
I started out by stenciling one of our beautiful new stencils, Leafy Mandala, with Blue Bay, Designer Denim and Stormy Sky Inks. I love sitting down with my stencils and just creating - and then I have premade backgrounds to use on my cards!
I then coloured all these amazing images with Copic Markers and even did some paper piecing with some pretty fall paper! I love how you could customize the plant pots, teapot and cups however you like!
I used banner dies to cut 'bookshelves' for my little scene and handcut shapes to create a table for my tea party! I even created a little tablecloth with some leftover background paper, cut into a triangle, and stenciled with yellow ink.
