Jolly

Well, I'm finally getting around to starting to create my Christmas cards! In June?! Well, my goal was to make a few each month so that December isn't so hectic!

I am loving watercolouring right now and made my focal image by embossing the Inkadinkadoo pine cone and branch image with white embossing powder onto watercolour paper. I used the Simply Sweet Cricut cartridge to cut out the circle cut with stitching lines.

I used Art Quest Stargazer Pearlescent watercolors to cover the background. I love how the embossed image acts as a resist!

I used the Gypsy to weld the circle border cut with the Art Philosophy Cricut cartridge, and used Kelly Purkey letter stickers to spell JOLLY. Then I added some Glossy Accents to the letters and the Dec  25 stamp.

Inside I stamped an Inkadinkadoo stamp and used some white gel pen to add highlights.

It was nice to create a Christmas card without feeling rushed and just enjoying the process of putting it all together :)
