Kraftin’ Kimmie Stamps April New Release Sneak Peeks - Day 3 - A Slothsome Day!

We are continuing our new release countdown today! Are you lovin' what you've seen so far? Because we've got MORE! It's Day THREE day of April Krafty Peek at Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps!!

It's our FINAL day of peeks and everything you've seen us share this week will be in the online shop on Saturday afternoon! We are closing out the festivities with a brand new adorable stamp set from artist Melissa Baker-Nguyen called.... A SLOTHSOME DAY!

Check out these laid back fuzzy pals!  A lot of us feel like we're just 'hanging around' but let's encourage each other to 'hang in there' and 'take it easy'!!  There are FIVE of these sweet images plus the perfect sentiment stamps for this time in our world!

For today's project I decided to create a sweet card, encouraging a friend to Hang In There! I was imagining a relaxing tropical rain forest when I created this card! I started off by stenciling the NEW Rainy Day Stencil with Vicki Boutin's Prism Glaze, which is a shiny blue texture paste. I then used Charming Chartreuse, Lovely Lagoon and Stormy Sky Krafty Kolours Inks to create an ombre effect on the background.

I sponged the NEW Gorgeous Grape Ink on a piece of white cardstock and cut out tiny flowers - what a great way to customize embellishments to match your card! I also diecut some leaves and used green flocking to add a fuzzy texture. I coloured this adorable little guy in with Copics and used a circle diecut to create a focal image for the card. Of course I had to add in some of the awesome NEW Rainy Day Dots for the flower centers! I even found a cute yellow button to use!

There are so many adorable images in this set! I decided to add in a cute little mamma and baby sloth to the inside, stamped with Creamy Caramel Ink and coloured with pencils. The sentiment Have a Slothsome Day fit perfectly!

Of course, today is also Challenge Day and as always, during release week the theme is Anything Goes!  So create a card, scrapbook page, altered item.....with a Kraftin' Kimmie Stamp!  Use any sketch, design, colour scheme you want! We can't wait to see your creations and you have until April  24th to play along!  Feel free to link up your submission on the Kraftin' Kimmie Blog and/or by uploading your pic to the folder in our Krafty Friends facebook group!  You could WIN a $25 gift voucher to the krafty shop!
