Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps January Krafty Peeks - Day 4 - Dream Castle!

  Today is our fourth day of Krafty Peeks for the January Release

 at Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps!

Today we are sharing another fabulous set from artist 

Sabrina van Vloten and it's called.....

DREAM CASTLE!!

This castle is seriously gorgeous!! And how about that amazing sentiment! I started off by colouring up this incredible castle with Copic Markers and fussy cutting the image so I could pop it up over a rainbow background! I used the Radiant Rainbow Stencil with Krafty Kolours Inks and then used Gina K Iridescent Glitter Paste over top to give a spectacular shine! The Krafty Scenery Stencil was perfect to add some soft clouds in the background too! 

I used our NEW Rocky Road Stencil along the bottom of the card and stamped the fabulous sentiment, first heat embossing with white powder and then offset stamping with our NEW Berry Bold Ink for a cool shadow effect! I also used the Berry Bold Ink to shade around the edge of the card for a beautiful pink effect. Our NEW Krafty Add Ons were fun to add for a subtle shine!

Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps January Krafty Peeks - Day 3 - Royal Sentiments!

  Today is our third day of Krafty Peeks for the January Release

 at Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps!

Today we are 'peeking' another fabulous set from artist 

Sabrina van Vloten and it's called.....

ROYAL SENTIMENTS!!

This sentiment set has so many magnificent words to mix and match! I'm pairing it with the Royal Family set we peeked yesterday! I thought this card would make a beautiful anniversary or wedding card. I coloured the images with Copics and used some pretty papers to paper piece the outfits as well as the bridge. What a great piece of scenery to have in your collection!! I also added the fabulous Sparkletz from the NEW Add On pack, layered on top of a pretty sunrise using the Summer Sunbeams Stencil and Krafty Kolour Inks.

Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps January Krafty Peeks - Day 2 - Royal Family!

  Welcome back to Day TWO of our January Krafty Peeks from Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps! We have more fun projects to share today!!

ROYAL FAMILY!!

This is a fabulous set full of regal elements to create splendid scenes! I decided to make a slimline card with this sweet set, creating a fun scene that would be perfect for any little princess' birthday!! I diecut some pretty papers and added some cobblestones along the bottom of my scene with the NEW Rocky Road Stencil and Granite Grey Kraftin' Kimmie Krafty Kolours Ink.

I coloured all the images up with Copic Markers and added some paper piecing to the the cute prince and princess outfits. I added some fun sequins, including that awesome crown, from the Add-On pack that will be in the KKS Shop Saturday!

Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps January Krafty Peeks - Day 1 - Together Is Better!

Hello friends and happy Tuesday! I'm so excited to bring you a peek at new Krafty goodies today! It's time for our January Release Peeks to begin at Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps!

Today's featured set is a Krafty Komeback set by Cheryl Grant and it's called.....
TOGETHER IS BETTER!

This was originally released in rubber,

and we're so excited to bring it back in clear for you!!

This adorable set is of course perfect for Valentines, but is also going to be a sweet set to create keepsake cards for many special people in your life!! I coloured this sweet guy up with Copic Markers and layered him on some fun musical Valentine papers. The sentiment I chose made me think of the son Love Machine and I had to play off that!! 💗 I created the background using the NEW COZY CHECK Stencil and BERRY BOLD Ink! I added some Dazzling Dots and this card is ready to give to my sweetie!

Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps Challenge #563 - Use Your Favourite Colour Combo!

Good Morning and welcome to another Saturday Challenge at Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps! Are you ready for another fun and krafty challenge to inspire you and help get your creative juices flowing? We've got some fabulous ideas for you and can't wait to see what you create! This week, our challenge for you is to "Use your favorite color combo". When I started thinking about this challenge, I was totally going to do a Valentines Card... but I spotted this pretty stencilled and embossed background and I decided I really needed to go with pretty, soft spring colours! This sweet image from the Tweetie Pies stamp set is just so adorable, so I chose her to colour with Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers and I added a few clouds using Salty Sea Krafty Kolours Ink and the Chubby Clouds Stencil. 

I created the background paper by dry embossing with the Petite Posies Stencil and then inking each of the flowers with various Krafty Kolour Inks. This way you get the colours and a raised dimension on your card background! I added on some pretty Dazzling Dots and tied a paper flower from Little Birdie Crafts. I'm looking forward to seeing what YOUR favourite colour combo is!

Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps - January Skrappy Challenge!

 Good morning & Happy New Year krafty friends!

It's January and that means it's time for a brand new
SKRAPPY CHALLENGE

with Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps!

 The theme of course is ANYTHING BUT A CARD!

For this challenge you can make anything that strikes your fancy....except a card!
So design a new scrapbook page, bookmark, tag, altered item, planner page, art journal, ATC cards...whatever you like! 

I am sharing a cinnamon bun recipe I've adapted from an old family tea biscuit recipe, which is one of our favourites! If you decide to try the tea biscuits, just stop before adding the cinnamon sugar and cut with a round cookie cutter. They are excellent! I used the adorable Krafty Elves Stamp Set and some more fun Kraftin' Kimmie goodies that you can see below to create a one of a kind recipe card!

And just to show you how good they are.... Sometimes we add icing, but they are delicious either way!

Just make sure to include some Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps products and make sure it's a new creation!  As soon as we have at least five people playing along, we'll be giving away a $10 gift voucher to the krafty shop as the monthly prize!  

I decided to share exactly how I make my yummy cinnamon buns! Following the recipe, roll out the dough on a floured surface. I'm using a rolling pin and pastry mat I picked up from Amazon. 

Add a layer of butter, brown sugar and cinnamon over top. You want a good amount!

Roll up, tapping each end in towards the center so it's fairly even in size and cut into four pieces.

Then, cut those four into three each. I find this is an easier way to get 12 pretty equal slices. I am baking on my Pampered Chef Stone pan - love!

Here's a look at them when they come out of the oven! They smell amazing!!

We added a little icing to these just after they came out!

To create this cute recipe card I cut a piece of Bristol Smooth Cardstock to 4x6". I used the Trippy Triangles Stencil with Berry Bliss and Pretty In Pink Krafty Kolours Inks. I added 'Hand Made' and 'Created by' stamps from the Handmade Sentiments Stamp Set in Sparkling Sapphire Ink and stamped the 'Made With Love' from the Christmas Is Love Stamp Set with the Berry Bliss Ink. I coloured up this adorable baking elf from the Krafty Elves Stamp Set with Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers. Feel free to right click on the image and save this recipe for yourself!!
