Bimini Moose Challenge - Anything Goes with Optional Twist - Use Green!

Happy Tuesday! I'm back today to bring you another Scrapbooking challenge over at BIMINI MOOSE!
Our challenge this time is...
Scrapbooking - ANYTHING GOES

Our challenges run for 2 weeks. This one will close on Mon, March 16 @ Noon Eastern time - giving us time to pick a Top 3 for the post the following day with our Next Challenge.

We will also be choosing one winner per challenge to win a cut file from our amazing sponsor -
These files are perfect to include in your Pocket Scrapbooking Layouts and in your other crafting as well.

For my scrapbooking project today I wanted to use these adorable cut files from Kadoodle Bug Designs! I combined the cute animal cuts with some camping Cricut cuts and came up with this pocket page layout using camping pics from June 2012. You can see how versatile these cute critters are! I have some more ideas to use them for, especially with Easter around the corner!

A Woodland Valentine
I made my own journalling cards by uploading the SVG cuts above into Cricut Explore and combining them with the camping Cricut cuts - laying them out in Design Space so it was easy to see how I wanted to size them. It was so fun going through these pictures, that just didn't seem that long ago! I love the one where Amie is standing with her friends in a group (aka: the Partners In Crime). Isn't that what it's all about when you are young and camping?! Hanging out and having fun with your friends!

I used some camping journalling cards cut from a 12x12 page and added in some of my own handwriting. I can't believe how little Erica was!!

Here are some close ups of some of the cards - I think I will be making more of these kind of cards! I used Prismacolor Markers to outline some of the cuts to create a shadow and highlights.

Here are two more cards that I made to use for later!

Be sure to pop over to Bimini Moose and check out the rest of the DESIGN TEAM and what they have created to inspire you to play along. There will be several posts on the Bimini Moose blog during our challenge, so if you want to see the current challenge, click on the CHALLENGES tab on the blog.
