FCCB #247 - Bye Bye Birdie

Welcome to another Challenge Me Monday...

Challenge #247 Bye, Bye, Birdie
Make a project using a bird or birds.

This Weeks Sponsor:

To qualify for the prize, be sure to use at least 1 Cricut cut on your project and if it's not obvious, let us know what cartridge you used.

For my project I made a cute Easter card using the 3 Birds on Parade cartridge for the little bird dressed up like a bunny. I just couldn't resist using this little bird, all ready for Easter!

I am so ready for Spring to come! So, when I saw these pretty Spring flowers on the Happy Easter cartridge I thought they'd go perfectly! I sponged all my cuts with Distress Ink and layered them on a blue and green patterned paper in the background.

I layered my cuts over two scalloped edged circle cuts from The First Few Years cartridge. I really like how easy it is to combine cartridge cuts with the Cricut Explore :)

Inside, I changed the 'funny bunny' cut to write in Design Space and used a purple marker to outline the cut on the round circle die cut from Days & Dates. Then I coloured in the bunny and sentiment and stamped Happy Easter from the Pretty Cute Stamps Easter Cuties stamp set.

Thanks so much for joining me today! You can head over to the FCCB blog to check out the rest of the Design Team's inspiration and enter your own bird themed project (with at least 1 Cricut cut!) for your chance to win!! Hope your week is full of happiness!
