I absolutely love the soft blue watercolour look with the gold in the logo, so that I what I was drawn to when I created three Christmas cards and two tags using the new Stamping Village Holiday Seals stamp set. I had so much fun mixing and matching papers and elements from my stash to coordinate with this look! I used Copic Markers to colour in all these sweet images - there are 12 seals in all to choose from and they are all so awesome! You can use them on envelopes, to coordinate with other images with each company they are designed by, cut out as smaller elements, or as tags and cards like I did...
For this first card I used paper from the Simple Stories Heart 6x8 Paper Pad on my background and to create a faux polaroid frame. Then, I backed the frame with the pretty boca paper from the Lawn Fawn Snow Day Remix collection.
All 12 companies came together to create this gorgeous stamp set. This image is by Avery Elle, and is so adorable. I added some white gel pen highlights and some silver gel pen to the string of lights. I used a Versamark Pen to trace around the outside of the image and added Emerald Creek Mirror Gold Embossing Powder.
For this next card I used a yellow toned woodgrain paper from my stash and a Waffleflower stitched diecut as the base. The stitched circle dies used in various sizes on these projects are from Kaisercraft, and a scalloped Your Next Stamp die features the pretty image by Pink Fresh Studio.
I added Glossy Accents to the cute little bird and some white gel pen highlights to the leaves. I had some foliage diecuts in my stash, so I pulled them out to use with Tim Holtz Metallic Cardstock and Lawn Fawn Glitter Paper. A few coordinating pearls from Buttons Galore and More finish it off.
The 3rd card uses papers from the Lawn Fawn Snow Day Remix collection again. I especially love the music paper! I coloured in the whole circle from this stamp designed by Studio Katia in various blues, yellow and greens.
I added some Glossy Accents on the berries and a Studio Katia Gold Sparkle Crystal to the center of the flower.
For the tags I used a white cardstock tag with a Your Next Stamp stitched tag die and layered on my elements.
This little Lawn Fawn design is soooo cute! I stamped the Merry Christmas with Gold Embossing Powder from the Lawn Fawn Winter Wavy Sayings set. I didn't happen to have the matching banner die, so I handcut around the sentiment and used a gold pen to line the edges. A small hole punch allowed me to turn this sentiment strip into a little tag too!
This beautiful design by Altenew was very simple to colour with some green Copics. I added some white gel pen highlights and the Studio Katia Gold Sparkle Crystals for bling. I layered it on top of the diecut tag which I watercoloured with Distress Oxides. A few Pretty Pink Posh sequins finish this last tag off!
Thanks so much for 'Hopping' by 😉 I hope you've gotten lots of inspiration to create something beautiful yourself! You can head over to the Brande's blog next, and don't forget to leave a comment for a chance to win! Have a fantastic and very crafty week my friends.
