Blog Hop-

Hop along to the Creative Team blogs to see how everyone was inspired by the new look.

If you want to start at the beginning, head over to Carolyn's Blog. Below is a complete list of the Scrap Shotz Creative team and the Hop Lineup:

I absolutely love the soft blue watercolour look with the gold in the logo, so that I what I was drawn to when I created three Christmas cards and two tags using the new Stamping Village Holiday Seals stamp set. I had so much fun mixing and matching papers and elements from my stash to coordinate with this look! I used Copic Markers to colour in all these sweet images - there are 12 seals in all to choose from and they are all so awesome! You can use them on envelopes, to coordinate with other images with each company they are designed by, cut out as smaller elements, or as tags and cards like I did...

For this first card I used paper from the Simple Stories Heart 6x8 Paper Pad on my background and to create a faux polaroid frame. Then, I backed the frame with the pretty boca paper from the Lawn Fawn Snow Day Remix collection.

All 12 companies came together to create this gorgeous stamp set. This image is by Avery Elle, and is so adorable. I added some white gel pen highlights and some silver gel pen to the string of lights. I used a Versamark Pen to trace around the outside of the image and added Emerald Creek Mirror Gold Embossing Powder.

For this next card I used a yellow toned woodgrain paper from my stash and a Waffleflower stitched diecut as the base. The stitched circle dies used in various sizes on these projects are from Kaisercraft, and a scalloped Your Next Stamp die features the pretty image by Pink Fresh Studio.

I added Glossy Accents to the cute little bird and some white gel pen highlights to the leaves. I had some foliage diecuts in my stash, so I pulled them out to use with Tim Holtz Metallic Cardstock and Lawn Fawn Glitter Paper. A few coordinating pearls from Buttons Galore and More finish it off.

The 3rd card uses papers from the Lawn Fawn Snow Day Remix collection again. I especially love the music paper! I coloured in the whole circle from this stamp designed by Studio Katia in various blues, yellow and greens.

I added some Glossy Accents on the berries and a Studio Katia Gold Sparkle Crystal to the center of the flower.

For the tags I used a white cardstock tag with a Your Next Stamp stitched tag die and layered on my elements.

This little Lawn Fawn design is soooo cute! I stamped the Merry Christmas with Gold Embossing Powder from the Lawn Fawn Winter Wavy Sayings set. I didn't happen to have the matching banner die, so I handcut around the sentiment and used a gold pen to line the edges. A small hole punch allowed me to turn this sentiment strip into a little tag too!

This beautiful design by Altenew was very simple to colour with some green Copics. I added some white gel pen highlights and the Studio Katia Gold Sparkle Crystals for bling. I layered it on top of the diecut tag which I watercoloured with Distress Oxides. A few Pretty Pink Posh sequins finish this last tag off!

Thanks so much for 'Hopping' by 😉 I hope you've gotten lots of inspiration to create something beautiful yourself! You can head over to the Brande's blog next, and don't forget to leave a comment for a chance to win! Have a fantastic and very crafty week my friends.

Adventure Panda Card!

Hello my sweet friends! I'm over on the Kitty Bee Designs Blog today with my last post for this awesome design team. I have loved working with all these wonderful girls and the fabulous stamps and digis from the Etsy Shop, but sometimes the time comes where you need to move on and do something different. I'm not exactly sure what 'different' is right now, but I'm feeling like I want to spend a little extra time organizing my house, getting my photos into albums and hanging out with the family - especially with warm weather on the horizon. I will always be a fan of the Kitty Bee Designs stamps though, and hope you'll continue to check the blog for all the wonderful designs the team comes up with! Today, I'm sharing the super cute Kitty Bee Designs Cloud Sitting Panda Clear Stamp coloured with Hobby Colour Markers and Copics which I cut out with a stitched circle die.

This cute paper airplane paper was just perfect to go with the sweet pilot panda. I even cut out some of the images to pop up around the card. Along with an 'adventure' sticker, this card will be great to pass along to someone who may be traveling, graduating or just heading down a new path.

Inside, I used a fitting stamp from Wild Whisper Designs. I think mixing and matching images and stamps is a great way to get more out of your supplies. (PS Be sure to use the code DTKARLA to save 10% off your order at the Wild Whisper Shop!)

Thanks so much for stopping by today! I hope you have a fantastic week and enjoy any adventures coming your way.

Scrap Shotz - New Product Reveal with 2 Layouts and a Video!!

Hey friends! Hope you've had a wonderful week!! Today I'm over at the Scrap Shotz Blog to share a New Product Reveal - showcasing a few of the fun items that are new in the Scrap Shotz Store - Carta Bella Gone Camping Paper Pack, Ephemera and Designer StampsTim Holtz 3-D Texture Fades Lumber Embossing Folder from Sizzix, and Pink Fresh Puffy Alpha Stickers. Here's a look at a couple layouts I created using these fun supplies to document a camping trip we went on last year. I'm so excited to get these photos in my album and get ready for another summer of camping!

I used the Creative Scrapbooker June Sketch to start off my first layout, layering the wonderful papers, ephemera and stamps. The lumber embossing folder works perfectly with the outdoorsy theme!

For the second layout, I used journaling cards from the cut apart sheets and layered elements to add to a pocket page. I love using pocket pages when I have lots of photos I want to include! Of course, I also added in some gorgeous SpiegelMom Scraps Sequins!

Here's a look at the Reveal Video where you can get a closeup of these fun products-

Thanks so much for stopping by! Be sure to head over to the Scrap Shotz Blog to get full details and see closeups of the scrapbook layouts I created with these fun products, and have an awesome weekend!

Die Cuttin Divas Guest Designer - Jawsome Birthday Card!

Hey friends! I'm so super excited to be Guest Designing over at the Die Cuttin' Diva's challenge blog this week!! If you are ever looking for inspiration to use your diecuts, or a challenge to link up to, this is the place to go. Our theme this week is 'Embossing' so I thought I'd share a card with some dry embossing - using an embossing folder, as well as some heat embossing, on this Jawsome birthday card using the Sizzix Thinlets Gift Card Bag diecut by Tim Holtz and the Lawn Fawn 'Duh-Nuh' stamp set for a little friend's birthday.

I cut the Gift Card Bag from a piece of packaging from a Tim Holtz Stencil - perfect for recycling, and too cool to throw out! I used a circle embossing folder to emboss the blue cardstock and then added some Distress Inks to highlight the raised images.

Inside, I stamped some more of the cute shark images, coloured them up and then added a couple cute sentiments along with some SpiegelMom Scraps Sequins. Even the envelope got a little coordinating stamp!

After embossing the shark and the bubbles with white on the Gift Card Bag I used the Jane Davenport Paint Over Pens to add an opaque colour. I cut a little tag to add into the bag and tucked the gift card in as well.

Thanks so much for stopping by! Be sure to head over to the Die Cuttin' Diva's challenge blog to see all the other amazing projects the designers have come up with this week, and enter your own embossed project, with a diecut - we'd love to see what you come up with!!
