Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps April Krafty Peeks... Day THREE! Forest Friends!

   Today is our third day of Krafty Peeks for the April Release

 at Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps!

Today we are 'peeking' a fabulous set 

from artist Sabrina van Vloten

 and it's called.....

FOREST FRIENDS!!

These friends from the forest are so sweet, and definitely perfect for spring!! They have so many sweet and versatile accessories - and will coordinate beautifully with the awesome Love Bugs images, especially the gorgeous flower!! I'm sharing a mini slimline card today with these two adorable critters! I used one of my slimline die sets with 6x6 papers and coloured up the images with Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers.

I added in a little diecut sunshine and clouds and stamped directly on the background with the little raindrops included in the FOREST FRIENDS stamp set. I added glitter to the drops and puddles from the ADD-ON BUNDLE using the Quickie Glue Pen and then added some Tonic Crystal Glaze over top. 

I also used glitter paper, which I diecut the sun and grass out of, and some ribbon, again from the ADD-ON BUNDLE  and stamped the sweet sentiment from the set!

April Krafty Peeks... Day TWO! Springtime Sentiments!

 Welcome back to Day TWO of our April Krafty Peeks!

Are you excited about what you've seen so far!?  Are you ready for more?

I hope your answer was yes because we've got more fabulous fun for you today!

The stamp set we are 'peeking' for you today is from 

artist Melissa Baker-Nguyen

 and it's called.....

SPRINGTIME SENTIMENTS!

This is an amazing set of sentiments that is perfect for Springtime quotes on cards, scrapbook pages, planners and more! You'll find yourself pairing these with many other sets for sure!!

I used this beautiful sentiment from the set as my focal image and grabbed the amazing ORIGINAL OVALS Stencil to create an oval masked sunray with the Summer Sunburst Stencil. These ovals are going to be a must have, and allow you to create fabulous designs with or without other stencils! I used the New MELLOW MUSTARD Ink along with Summer Sunshine Krafty Kolours Ink to create a lovely sunray and then layered my diecut oval on a piece of the awesome glitter paper from the APRIL ADD-ON BUNDLE! 

I used one of the adorable Forest Babies buttons and pretty ribbon trim, both from the APRIL ADD-ON BUNDLE to embellish the bottom of the card. 

The pretty diecut butterflies have double sided tape behind them and are coloured with gorgeous glitter - again from the APRIL ADD-ON BUNDLE! You are going to find so many ways to use all the supplies in this bundle!! I finished off the card by stamping the tree stamps from the SPRINGTIME SENTIMENTS set, giving them a shaded look by stamping in two colours of the Krafty Kolours Inks in various shades. I just love the bright spring look you can get by changing up your ink colours!

Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps April Krafty Peeks - Day ONE! Wild And Crazy Guys!

 Who's ready for lots of brand new Krafty goodies?!

It's time for our April Release Peeks to begin

Last year for my husband's birthday we got him an Akorn Jr. Smoker and he has definitely become a Grill Master, so I had to choose this BBQ guy and create a card I know he'll love for Father's Day!

I found some Doodlebug BarB Cute paper in my stash, which was the perfect match to compliment this card! I used our New MELLOW MUSTARD and both New stencils - DARING DIAMONDS  and ORIGINAL OVALS to create a masked oval background. I must say I love this yellow and it's definitely going to be one I use a lot!!

I used one of the adorable Forest Babies Buttons along with a strip of the fabulous glitter paper that are both included in the amazing APRIL ADD ON BUNDLE  to accent my card. I added a few Krafty Dots to finish off the front and then inside added a sentiment from the Doodlebug paper pad that was again just perfect for this card!

Challenge #576 - Use A Circle AND Krafty Krop Weekend!!

Good morning and welcome to another fabulous and fun Saturday Challenge at Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps! Are you ready for another fun and krafty challenge to inspire you and help get your creative juices flowing? We've got some fabulous ideas for you and can't wait to see what you create!

This week, our challenge theme for you is: 

USE A CIRCLE!

I created a cute card using the adorable sweetie in pajamas from the Lulu & Friends Stamp Set and I added in the cute little kitten from the Snail Mail Set, colouring both with Copic Markers.

I added circle elements in with the So Many Circles Stencil and Krafty Kolours Ink and adding circle diecuts, a brad, gems and Dream Drops!

 

Each and every Saturday we post a brand new challenge for the week and you are welcome to enter as many times as you like.

These must be new creations and you are welcome to use any stamp, however, using Kraftin' Kimmie Stamp products will earn you double entries!

The monthly prize is a $25 voucher to the Krafty shop!!! Woohoo!  There are two ways to enter: you can link up your creation on the  Kraftin’ Kimmie blog page and you can upload your photo to the album in our Krafty Friends FB group.

Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps April Skrappy Challenge - Being 9 Hero Layout!

  Good morning krafty friends! It's April and that means it's time for a brand new

SKRAPPY CHALLENGE

with Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps!

 The theme of course is ANYTHING BUT A CARD!

I am sharing a layout that I made for our Mythical Mini Retreat in January using the amazing Dragon Flight and My Hero Stamp Sets that were then released last month! They are amazing!! I was really excited to use them on a layout of my daughter who loves dragons and superheroes!

I used the Dragon Dreams paper & stickers that was included with the Retreat Kit and stamped some of the amazing sentiments from the My Hero stamp set with Krafty Kolours Inks! 

These photos were from her 9th Birthday and she had been wearing a superhero cape and mask that her aunt made her all week! It was so much fun to scrap these photos with these stamps!!

I used Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers to color in the adorable flying dragon image and I added long hair to the image to match my daughters long hair. If you look closely you'll get a sneak peek of a stencil that's going to be coming out very soon! 😉

For this challenge you can make anything that strikes your fancy....except a card!

So design a new scrapbook page, bookmark, tag, altered item, planner page, art journal, ATC cards...whatever you like!

Just make sure to include some Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps products and make sure it's a new creation!  As soon as we have at least five people playing along, we'll be giving away a $10 gift voucher to the krafty shop as the monthly prize!  

You have until Monday, May 3rd to enter and you can submit as many new creations as you like for more chances to WIN!  Also be sure to share your designs on the Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps' Krafty Friends facebook page because we love to see your stuff!

Here's the card I created using this sweet guy!

I decided to paper piece him and perched him on an embossed chipboard branch from our February Add-on Bundle! I used the beautiful Summer Sunbeams Stencil with Krafty Kolours Inks for a bright background.

I used part of the sentiment included with the set to add a little banner attached to the Hugs diecut word and added in some sequins and ephemera.

Inside, I added the other sentiment - perfect for sending to a friend right now!!
