Outrageous Joy Birthday Card!

Hi friends!! I hope your week is looking up so far. My daughter has a friend who had a birthday last week, and I wanted to use this adorable new stamp set Waddles Rainbow Fun again to make her friend a birthday card. You can see the other cute card I made using this set here on this post.  I decided to use some paper from a Basic Grey 6x6 paper pad and used a sketch from Mojo Monday. This sentiment is one of my favourites, and would make anyone's birthday extra special!

I stamped my images on white cardstock (there are so many in this set!) and coloured with Prismacolor and Hobby Colour markers, adding white gel pen accents and popping up a cute cloud.

Inside I stamped a Happy Birthday sentiment from the Wish Big stamp set from Pretty Cute Stamps and added another cute penguin to create a matching envelope.

Thanks so much for stopping by today! I hope you have a fantastic week!

Kitty Bee Designs Challenge #84 - Fall Colours

Hi Friends! I hope you've been having a lovely week so far! I've had lots of fun creating Fall projects lately and here's one more for you!  It's time for the midweek inspiration for Challenge #84 over at the Kitty Bee Designs Challenge Blog - Aloha Friday!

Challenge #84 - Fall Colors

Super big thanks to our sponsor for this challenge, Bugaboo Stamps!

For my project today I'm using one of the super cute digi stamps from our wonderful sponsor Bugaboo Stamps - Autumn Kidz! After printing her out on white cardstock I used coloured pencils to colour her in. There is something so basic and relaxing about colouring with coloured pencils. I didn't use anything fancy - I just used the pencils my girls have in their colouring drawer!

I used a Basic Grey paper from the Highline collection for my background paper and layered it on each side of my gatefold card. I had a Heidi Swapp clear stamp in my stash which came with a steel die, so it was great to add this word bubble hello sentiment.

I added some white, clear and sparkly gel pens to my project as well as some Glossy Accents. This squirrel in her hair cracks me up! The sequins are from the Autumn Joy Fall sequin mix from SpiegelMom Scraps.

Thanks so much for stopping by today! Be sure to head over to the Aloha Friday Kitty Bee Designs Challenge Blog to see all the awesome inspiration and enter your own Fall Colors project for a chance to win!

Lawn Fawn Coffee Thanks!

Well, I just had to combine my Lawn Fawn Love You A Latte stamps with the Basic Grey Highline paper I picked up recently to create a quick Thank You card!

I used one of the 3x4 journaling cards and the FRESH diecut that came with the Basic Grey ephemera pack. I stamped my Lawn Fawn stamps directly onto the card and coloured them with coloured pencils. I love all the different sentiments in this set!

To add some glossy shine I used my Sakura Gelly Roll Glaze pens on the stamped heart on the Fresh diecut as well as the coffee cup and beans. I like the clear Glaze pen to add some gloss when you don't want to wait for Glossy Accents to dry. The clear glitter pen added some shimmer to my sentiment.
On Saturday morning my wonderful hubby makes AeroPress coffee - it's simply amazing! I got to relax and read a Christmas magazine this morning while drinking my latte sprinkled with cinnamon :) Awesome!

Thanks so much for joining me today! Hope you're enjoying your weekend and a tea or coffee to relax with Sunday morning!

Sam!
Great card. The colors are so pretty!

Sam, you can contact me at karlajyungwirth at gmail dot com with your email address within one week to claim your prize! Thanks so much for everyone who commented. Don't forget you still have a few more days to play along with the challenges at Scrapping Everyday Miracles for more prizes!
And now, I wanted to share a couple fun cards using the Lawn Fawn stamp set, Love You A Latte! I'm so excited because we had the Great Canadian Scrapbook Carnival here in Calgary over the weekend! With the dollar so low here in Canada right now I have not done any online shopping for a long time. So, Friday I took my daughter and we drove 45 mins both ways to go to the Carnival to do a bit of shopping. I was really excited to find some fun Lawn Fawn stamps there as well as a few other items that I wouldn't normally have access to. And the fall leaves are absolutely beautiful right now, so it ended up to be a wonderful drive and a fun afternoon - that I'm still enjoying!
I used the Basic Grey Highline 6x6 paper pad that I also picked up - and love!! as background paper on my cards. I stamped the yummy coffee images with Memento Tuxedo Black ink on white paper and used Prismacolor Markers to color the images in. I just love these scrolly sentiments!

I masked off the cup and spoon before stamping the plate so everything was layered on my paper. I watched the Lawn Fawn intro video for this set and I loved the way she added the shading around the cup, plate and spoon!

I used the same paper pad for my second card, varying the background paper. I cut my focal image into a tag, added some twine and used foam dots to pop it up on my card.

I masked my image again and added Distress Inks to create a background. I made the rounded base by cutting a sticky note to use a stencil.

These cards were so much fun to create! I can't wait to make some more using all the awesome stamps in this set!! Thanks so much for joining me today - I hope you have a wonderful weekend!
