FREE Printable I Love You Grandma Card!
Hello! I hope your weekend was full of sunshine 🌞 We have had lovely weather lately, and it sure is nice!! I am thinking about upcoming Mothers Day and my hubby's mom's birthday - both days which are very close together! I was so excited to see this free printable I Love You Grandma in the Gerda Steiner Designs Shop recently and thought it would be perfect to send along with the other cards and goodies we will be popping in the mail soon. I even printed extra copies off so the girls could colour up their own versions!

Wild Whisper - World's Best Grandma Double Page Layout!
Hello friends!! I hope you all had a wonderful weekend! I had a lovely Mother's Day Brunch with my fam and got to relax and even have some crafty time <3
I'm over at the Wild Whisper Blog today to share a double page layout I made using the new World's Best collection. This is such a beautiful collection that can be used for Mother's Day and Father's Day as well as spring layouts and cards! Since the colours match beautifully with the previously released collections you can mix and match easily as well. Here's a look at the layout I made celebrating my mother-in-law's visit a couple weeks ago.
I used the National Scrapbook Day sketch challenge from Suzanne Lee as a starting point to create the left page and used Sara Scraps challenge to use spring colours. The challenges are going on all month and can be found on the Wild Whisper Instagram and SpiegelMom Scraps Instagram pages. Remember to use the hashtags #WWINSD17 #smsnsd17 and say what challenge you're joining to be eligible to win prizes!

Grandma Mar Layout using Fancy Free and Cut Files!
I love this sweet photo of my daughter snuggled up with her grandma. We don't get to see her too often, so the time spent with Grandma Mar is precious.
I used the April sketch from the Creative Scrapbooker Magazine along with this Shattered Glass Overlay FREE cut file from the Bits and Pieces Lab blog as the base for my layout. Of course the wonderful Fancy Free papers by Pink Paislee were perfect behind my photo and the cut file. I love how the papers match my photo!
The hearts from the ephemera package matched the papers I used, so I placed them inside the cut file openings after using foam dots to pop up my photo to add a little dimension.
I used my Cricut Explore to also cut the title before adding a graduated layer of Distress Inks in Twisted Citron and Lucky Clover.
It was easy to fussy cut some of the flowers and circles from the paper pad and layer them on the bottom corner of my page before adding a clear embellishment.
Thanks so much for stopping by today! I hope your week is filled with lots of happiness :)

Bimini Moose Challenge - Anything Goes with optional twist Specific Family Member!
Happy Tuesday! I'm back today to bring you another Pocket Scrapbooking challenge over at BIMINI MOOSE!
Our challenge this time is...
Pocket Scrapbooking - ANYTHING GOES
with an optional twist - Specific Family Member
with an optional twist - Specific Family Member
Do you have a favorite Aunt or Uncle? What is it about them that makes them so special to you? Include a photo and tell us all about it for this Optional TWIST - SPECIFIC FAMILY MEMBER. Or maybe you have a family member that went on an exciting trip (without you - what nerve LOL), and you'd like to show pictures of your son or daughter or other family member overseas or off to summer camp for the first time or leaving for college or getting married or having a baby or or or.... I'm sure you can think of lots of reasons to scrap a specific family member. We can't wait to see!
Our challenges run for 2 weeks. This one will close on Mon, June 22 @ Noon Eastern time - giving us time to pick a winner for the post the following day with our Next Challenge.
We will choose one winner per challenge to win a cut file from our amazing sponsor -
These files are perfect to include in your Pocket Scrapbooking Layouts and in your other crafting as well.
For my project for this challenge I have chosen to create a digital layout in the Project Life app about my lovely grandmother! I found some pics in a box (have to do something with these!!) and simply took a picture of them with my iPhone. I was then able to open them in the app and make this sweet layout! After choosing my PL cards and adding journaling I saved it and reopened it in Rhonna Designs to add some digi washi tape, more journaling and digi stickers!
I just love how this turned out! I love being able to have it on my phone as a reminder of how great a woman she was and I can always print it in either an 8x8 or 12x12 format and include it in my album!
Be sure to pop over to Bimini Moose and check out the rest of the DESIGN TEAM and what they have created to inspire you to play along. There will be several posts on the Bimini Moose blog during our challenge, so if you want to see the current challenge, click on the CHALLENGES tab on the blog. If you want to browse through all of the posts with ideas, tutorials, and some personal layouts, click on the HOME tab on that blog
Thanks so much for joining me!! I love seeing and hearing what you are up to!
