Good Morning and welcome to another fabulous and fun Saturday Challenge at Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps! Are you ready for another fun and krafty challenge to inspire you and help get your creative juices flowing? We've got some fabulous ideas for you and can't wait to see what you create! This week our challenge for you is .... USE A STENCIL! I decided to use a stencil in a bit of a different way for this project! I actually embossed the fabulous Summer Sunbeams Stencil first - and if you've never done this -- you gotta try it! Using an embossing mat and my Cricut Cuttlebug, which is almost ancient now ;) I ran it through with a piece of white cardstock and it actually embosses the texture of the stencil into the paper. Then, I used our new Summer Sunshine Ink to add a soft yellow shine fading out toward the edges. This is a fun way to add even more detail and texture to your project. **If you missed the Live Video where I demo'd all kinds of different ways to use this stencil be sure to check it out HERE! Woot! Woot! Today we are celebrating all the wonderful new summertime things in our JUNE Release that are NOW AVAILABLE in the Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps Shop! All THREE of our new stamp sets along with two new stencils, our stunning new hybrid ink colour, Sandy Shores and sweet new krafty dots were released yesterday, and we're excited to share everything with you in a fabulous blog hop! I decided to use a little of almost everything in my project for today - first doing some paper piecing with the cute submarine from UNDERWATER FUN! I thought if I had a sub I'd definitely choose a colourful one! and I created a scene using a slimline die - tucking in the adorable Lucas in his scuba gear.
I used the KRAFTY SCENERY 3 waves to add subtle texture to the watercolour paper with Lovely Lagoon Ink, stamping one of the awesome sentiments on top! I used the same stencil and the New SANDY SHORES to stencil a sandy bottom too.
I took the cute crab from WHAT'S THE SCOOP?! and added him to the bottom of the card, and I added bubbles and seashells from TURTLEY AWESOME! A bit of Glossy Accents gave the crab's cute eyes and the bubbles some dimension, and the New SEASHORE DOTS! finish this fun card off!

It's our FINAL day of June Krafty Peeks at Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps!! Are you READY for more summer FUN?! Everything you've seen us share this week will be released this afternoon (Saturday) after our LIVE online party! All the new goodies will be available at 3pm EST!
We are closing out the festivities with a brand new adorable stamp set from artist Becky Pearce called.... TURTLEY AWESOME! OH my gosh, how cute are these TURTLES!?! I ask you? These little sweeties are having fun at the beach! There are four main turtles, little accessory stamps for all the seaside fun plus a cute little ducky pal! And don't forget all the incredible coordinating sentiments!
For today's project I couldn't choose just one of these cuties, so I decided to use 3 of them, sitting on the beach having a blast!! I chose a slimline card design and cut out a circle from a piece of cardstock to create a mask to use with the New Nautical Netting Stencil. I also used one of the circles from the So Many Circles Stencil for the area under the sweet little birdie! This technique creates a two in one stencil effect - great for spotlighting different areas. I used the New Sandy Shores Ink along with Salty Sea Ink for a beachy feel.
The New Krafty Scenery 3 Stencil was perfect to add more summertime elements with the bright sunshine, umbrella and waves using various Krafty Kolours Inks. I used Copic Markers to colour in these sweet turtles and added some white gel pen highlights for detail.
I stamped one of the cute sentiments along the bottom with Wicked Black Ink to wish one of my besties a very special birthday 😉🎂 Lastly, I added in a few of the New Seashore Dots with those fun seashell and starfish accessories!

Today we're sharing a sweet new stamp set by artist Cheryl Grant! It's called....UNDERWATER FUN! This adorable new set features our friends Lulu and Lucas, and their furry friends are getting in on the action too! Such super fun images for those fun underwater designs!! Plus several awesome coordinating sentiments!
Check out UNDERWATER FUN in action as you hop around the Krafty Team's blogs today! You'll also see the new stencils, new ink and new dots along the way!! For my project today I'm using the New Nautical Netting Stencil with Tim Holtz Distress Crackle Paste and Distress Oxide Sprays to create a super cool underwater background. I even used the fabulous Summer Sunbeam Stencil released last month with some shiny Opal Polish to add rays coming through the water!
I coloured up Lucas and his adorable puppy with Copic Markers and added some gel pen highlights.
I diecut a stitched border and used the New Sandy Shores Krafty Kolours Ink to sponge a lovely sandy bottom, even adding some stencilled layers with the New Krafty Scenery 3 Stencil. I love all the fantastic sentiments in this set and I chose a friendship saying stamped in Magical Midnight Ink. A few seashell sequins decorated with the New Seashore Dots finished off this fun scene!

The weather is getting warmer and sunnier! So how about a New SUMMERTIME Release?! The JUNE Release at Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps begins NOW! Welcome to Day ONE of our June Krafty Peeks! We are ready to celebrate and inspire you with THREE new stamp sets, TWO new stencils, a brand new INK colour and some new Krafty DOTS! Who's ready to PAR-TEE!!!?!
We're kicking off the krafty fun with an ADORABLE set from artist NEDA SADREDDIN and it's called..... WHAT'S THE SCOOP?! These sassy gals are ready for the sunshine by the ocean or by the pool! And check out their 'crabby' pal! It's a 4x6 stamp set featuring several main images, some accessory stamps and some awesome sunshiny sentiments!
As you hop around the Krafty Team's blogs today you will see the WHAT'S THE SCOOP? stamp set in action in combination with our all of our other awesome new JUNE Kraftin' Kimmie products! I decided to use the adorable girl and crab floating on inner tubes for my card today! And I figured they would look super cute in this beach scene with matching donut floaties!!
I ink blended the background using Krafty Kolours Inks in Summer Sunshine, Pretty In Pink and Sparkling Sapphire, adding extra inky layers at the bottom using the waves on the NEW KRAFTY SCENERY 3! This scenery stencil is definitely going to be a go-to!! I used the sun part of the stencil to add Gina K Iridescent Glitz Glitter Gel for a sparkly sunshine! Some Glossy Accents add a bit of shine to the glasses and ice cream scoops too.
I used patterned paper to paper piece the floaties, sunglasses and the cute bikini, and then I popped up the images with foam dots. Then I added an embossed sentiment from the set - how cute is that?!! and some coordinating NEW SEASHORE DOTS.
You will spot our newest addition to the Krafty Kolours Hybrid Ink rainbow! It's a beautiful warm brown named SANDY SHORES! As always it will be available in full sized ink pads, mini cubes and ink refills!
We've got TWO brand new Krafty Stencils for this month's release to help accessorize your creations! They are called KRAFTY SCENERY 3 and NAUTICAL NETTING!

For this challenge I decided to create some texture with stencils using the new Summer Sunbeams Stencil with some Vicki Boutin Iridescent Glaze. This Glaze is a smooth texture paste that creates a gorgeous shimmer! Then I used the Leaves & Vines Stencil to dry emboss my remaining cardstock using an embossing mat in my Cuttlebug. I love the effect on a piece of white cardstock!
I coloured some of the new Up, Up & Away images with Copics, using the balloon basket as a plain basket and tucking the adorable little birds inside. I placed the elephant centered over the sunbeam for a neat effect! I added one last textured element with the Fruity Krafty Dots and my card is ready to go!
