Hello Farm Girls Layout with Scrap Shotz Pinkfresh Studio March Kit!
Hello! I hope you're all doing great! I have another post for you today on the Scrap Shotz Blog using the beautiful March 2020 Kit featuring the absolutely gorgeous Pinkfresh Studio My Favorite Story collection and the April sketch from the SCT 365-2020 Layout Online Class! I'm continuing to use the photos from my girls at a local farm and love that I was able to use so many photos on these pages!!
Kraftin’ Kimmie Stamps April New Release Sneak Peeks- Day 1 - Here Comes The Sun!
Sunny days are on the way!! The April Release at Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps begins NOW! Welcome to Day ONE of our April Krafty Peeks! We are ready to celebrate and inspire you with THREE new stamp sets, TWO new stencils, a brand new INK colour and some new Krafty DOTS! Who's ready to celebrate SPRING?
We're kicking off the fun with a sweet new SPRING set from artist Neda Sadreddin and it's called..... HERE COMES THE SUN! What a fabulous and uplifting set of sweet images and sentiments to send to special people to let them know you're thinking of them, especially right now! It's a 4x6 stamp set featuring several main images, some accessory stamps and some awesome sunshiney sentiments!
As you hop around the Krafty Team's blogs today you will see the HERE COMES THE SUN stamp set in action in combination with our all of our other awesome new APRIL Kraftin' Kimmie products! I decided to make an adorable Spring card with this sweet girl!! I coloured her up with Copic Markers and layered the diecut ovals on a bright yellow background.
The NEW Gorgeous Grape Ink added a fun colour to my stamped sentiment and coordinated with the purple paper and NEW Rainy Day Krafty Dots.
Our newest addition to the Krafty Kolours Hybrid Ink rainbow is an amazing dark royal purple named GORGEOUS GRAPE! As always it will be available in full sized ink pads, mini cubes and ink refills!
We've got TWO brand new Krafty Stencils for this month's release to help accessorize your creations! They are called RAINY DAY STENCIL and BEAUTIFUL BUTTERFLIES!!
And of course, we are adding the perfect new coordinating Krafty Dots for this release! The package includes 66 enamel dots in varying sizes in 6 different colours! These ones are called RAINY DAY DOTS!
You'll get to see all of our brand new goodies in action over the next few days of April Krafty Peeks and everything will be released at our LIVE Online Release Party in the Krafty Friends facebook group on Saturday, April 18th at 2 pm EST! I added the sweet little sunshine and clouds using some foam tape for dimension and used a bit of embroidery floss for some texture to the sentiment rectangle. I love the flowers included with this set - perfect for tiny embellishments!

Two Layouts Using Scrap Shotz March 2020 Kit!
Hello! I hope you're all doing well! We had a lovely Easter Weekend and even though we didn't get to see family in person, we chatted on the phone and dropped off a few care packages. The girls were so excited to find Easter goodies waiting for them and of course we had turkey dinner. :) I also had fun putting two layouts together for the Scrap Shotz Blog using the beautiful March 2020 Kit featuring the absolutely gorgeous Pinkfresh Studio My Favorite Story collection!! I decided to start with the Creative Scrapbooker Magazine April Sketchy Challenge. If you're ever stuck or just enjoy starting with a sketch like me you'll find tons of sketches in this Facebook Group!

And I had so much fun I had to create one more layout! This one is a special one of myself and my husband on a date night a few years ago. I loved being able to document these photos in such a beautiful way! I was able to grab the cutfiles for FREE from the Pinkfresh Studio Fan Group! The albums in the group have all the available files free to download and there is lots of inspiration, as well as challenges in their group! I used my Cricut Maker and Design Space to cut out the flowers and the leaves from cardstock that was in the kit! I decided to play along with the Fan Group's Sketch Challenge for this week and make it even more fun!

Scrapping the Great Canadian Scrapbook Carnival with Wild Whisper!
Hello! How's everyone's Good Friday going?! I had fun this morning digging out some older pics from the 2017 Great Canadian Scrapbook Carnival that is put on each year by Creative Scrapbooker Magazine. This was such a fun event and it was awesome to get to meet so many people in person - and so nice to be able to continue to work with these amazing people!! I used three different Wild Whisper collections on this layout, but you can see they all coordinate so well it flows beautifully.

Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps Saturday Challenge #525 - Get Messy!
Good morning and welcome to another Saturday challenge at Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps! Are you ready for another fun and krafty challenge to inspire you and help get your creative juices flowing? We've got some fabulous ideas for you and can't wait to see what you create! This week our challenge for you is to Get Messy! I decided to create with the beautiful Happy Hummingbird Stamp Set and use one of the backgrounds I created for the 10 Ways To Use Your Stencils Live Video in the Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps Facebook Group last weekend! You can even download a PDF with full instructions in the group HERE.
I'm using the Sweater Weather Stencil along with beautiful Gold Nuvo Glimmer Paste to get this pretty textured background. I stamped with Wicked Black Krafty Kolours Ink and coloured the Hummingbird and flowers in with Copic Markers. I even added a little watercolour to my sentiment strip and gold foiling with the Deco Foil Adhesive Pen and some gold foil. A few pretty purple dots from the Polar Krafty Dots pack add two more pops of colour! This card is perfect for Spring!!
Each and every Saturday we post a brand new challenge for the week and you are welcome to enter as many times as you like. These must be new creations and you are welcome to use any stamp however using Kraftin' Kimmie stamp and products will earn you double entries! The monthly prize is a $20 voucher to the Krafty shop!!! Woohoo!

Scrap Shotz Chat & Craft - Ep 1 - Tim Holtz Distress Embossing Glazes!
Howdy! I thought I'd share a fun series we are starting on the Scrap Shotz Facebook Page - Chat & Craft, which is chatting and crafting, he he! I edited the video for YouTube below, and you can check out some fun techniques and tips when using the beautiful NEW Tim Holtz Distress Embossing Glazes as well as follow along to create a beautiful stamped and embossed tag.
We played around with Vicki Boutin's Wildflower & Honey Stencils (on sale!), Distress Oxide Inks and the Ranger Embossing Dabber.
We even embossed on some pretty diecut ephemera pieces! These ones are from the Tim Holtz Botanical Set, but who doesn't have lots of ephemera laying around?!

I pulled out these beautiful stamps from the Tim Holtz Modern Christmas Stamp set to create two pretty tags. I really love this set and most of the images can be used for more than just Christmas!
We played around with Vicki Boutin's Wildflower & Honey Stencils (on sale!), Distress Oxide Inks and the Ranger Embossing Dabber.

The Embossing Glazes also worked beautifully on gold metal brads and some Tim Holtz Chit Chat Stickers... oh so many ideas!
