Fall Layouts with Scrap Shotz October Kit Club!

Hello friends! I'm really excited to be on the Scrap Shotz Blog today with the October Kit Reveal and two beautiful Fall layouts! This kit features the wonderful Carta Bella Hello Autumn collection and is full of amazing crafty goodness!! I love Fall and these supplies definitely make it even more fun. 🧡 For this layout I'm using a sketch from Jennifer Edwardson's Makin' More Memories Sunday Live.

Kraftin’ Kimmie Stamps Saturday Challenge #554 Make Your Own Background!

Good morning and welcome to another fabulous and fun Saturday Challenge at Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps! Are you ready for another fun and krafty challenge to inspire you and help get your creative juices flowing? We've got some fabulous ideas for you and can't wait to see what you create! This week, our challenge for you is to make your own background! You can really take this challenge in so many different directions! You could make an inky or stencilled background, you could create a scene with diecuts, you can get out your stamps... I decided to create a patterned paper look by using various little Halloween images from Mini Monsters, Owl-Chemy, I Want Candy and Too Cute To Spook and colouring them in with a no-line colouring look!! I first stamped all the fun images in with various colours of Kraftin' Kimmie Krafty Kolours Inks - and I could have left it there - but I decided to colour the images in with Copic Markers. I love it when I find little accessory stamps in sets - they are perfect to add in to little areas!! 

I stamped this adorable little monster from the Mini Monsters Stamp Set and coloured her in with  Copics. I added a little bit of a 'furry texture' by dotting my darkest purple marker over top. I love the adorable accessories in this set!! I stamped the balloon, treat bag and bows and layered her over a spooky fence diecut with my Cricut Maker. 

I love the sentiments in this set and chose this cute one to heat emboss on a black banner, adding some orange and white bakers twine around the top. I added some tiny Halloween Dots and some Glossy Accents to finish off the card!

Each and every Saturday we post a brand new challenge for the week and you are welcome to enter as many times as you like. These must be new creations and you are welcome to use any stamp, however, using Kraftin' Kimmie Stamp and products will earn you double entries! Mini Slimline Halloween Cards Collaboration!

 Hello again friends! I'm back today with two cute and not too spooky cards for Halloween. We've decided our family is going to stay home this year, but that doesn't mean we can't have fun!! I'm still making Halloween cards, we're going to have our own party with spooky treats, crafts and games and of course dress up and have candy! I'm super excited to share these cards with you using products my friend, Jennifer Smith from Close To My Heart, sent me to do a collab with her. I'd love for you to check her out - you can find her online at her Blog, Website, Facebook page and Instagram!! I'm using the awesome supplies from the Got Candy Bundle, which includes a stamp set, paper pack, sticker sheet, coordinating cardstock & sequins!!

I used the clear stamps from the bundle as my focal images, colouring them with Copic Markers and adding white gel pen highlights, some Stickles and Glossy Accents for even more fun!

The patterned paper from the bundle is so cool and worked perfectly to make mini slimline cards using the Photoplay #6 die. I cut the front stitched cardbase and then backed it with more of the papers included. I used some white embossing powder to heat emboss the Trick Or Treat sentiment from the stamp set and then used one of the fantastic pumpkin sequins from the coordinating mix. I absolutely love these 'handdrawn' stars and I know they'll be used a lot throughout the year!

The little haunted house is so cute!! I cut the door so that it would open and used more of those awesome ghost and spider sequins along with some glittery Stickles! I think the candy corn looks good enough to eat!!

For the second card I again created a mini slimline - seriously love this size at 3 1/2 x 6 1/2! The patterned paper is double sided so you have lots of choices for combinations, and I cut the cardbases from the coordinating cardstock from the bundle!

I heat embossed Happy Halloween on this card and stamped some of the solid stars from the set, using Wanderlust WOW Embossing Powder. It looked so cool, I had to use it with these delicious looking gumdrops too!! I stamped with Distress Oxide Ink, which stays wet long enough to emboss! I'm definitely going to be pulling out these stamps for Christmas too - and I may have to stop at the store for gumdrops. 😜

The little bat and pumpkin are adorable and they look like they are having a wonderful time!! These guys are a great size to use on your cards and scrapbook pages!!

Kraftin’ Kimmie Stamps October New Release Shop & Hop!

 Woohoo!!! Today we are celebrating all the new fabulous holiday goodies in our October Release that are NOW available in the Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps Shop! All three of our new stamp sets, plus two new stencils, a new hybrid ink colour Amazing Azure and new Dazzling Dots were released yesterday and we're excited to share it ALL with you in a fabulous krafty HOP! So let's check everything out as we hop around the Krafty Design Team's blogs today!  Grab a nice hot beverage, sit back and relax while we take you on the krafty tour! I decided to use the amazing A-frame house from the beautiful NEW WINTER SCENERY stamp set to create a pretty ornament card! I just love the moutains and trees in this set - you can see them stamped behind the cozy little home. 

I added some snowy stitched hills and used Nuvo Crystal Drops for glittery accents and layered all the elements together to create a cool scene. I used a diecut glittery bow and some pretty ribbon for the ornament hanger and then popped up a Merry Christmas diecut on some fun Doodlebug Designs paper!

Now to recap all those amazing releases!! First up we have TWO new stamp sets from artist Sabrina van Vloten! The first is called KRAFTY ELVES.....

and the second is WISH UPON A STAR!

The last stamp set is from our brand new artist, Allison Cope! Check out WINTER SCENERY!

Kraftin’ Kimmie Stamps October Sneak Peeks Day 3 - Winter Scenery!

Today is our final day of Krafty Peeks for the October Release at Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps! Today we are absolutely thrilled to be introducing a brand new artist to the Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps creative team! Now you already know this name as she's been part of the family for a couple of years now....as a Krafty Design Team member!!!  It's ALLISON COPE!!

The very first stamp set from Allison is a stunner called Winter Scenery! This stamp set is filled with so many gorgeous buildings, trees, landscapes...all covered in snow!  The possibilities are endless for creating your own scenes as the focal point of your creations or to use as backgrounds for other image stamp sets!!  It's an unbelievable set!

As you hop around the design team's blogs today you'll be able to check out WINTER SCENERY in action in combination with a lot of our other new October Kraftin' Kimmie products! I just adore this stamp set and I couldn't wait to decorate the log cabin as a sweet gingerbread house! Once you start playing with this set, you're not going to be able to stop! I created a little snowglobe scene with some snowy hills and those fabulous trees also included in the set. If you look closely you'll see another line of trees embossed behind the house! I used Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers to colour in both the house and trees, using Bristol cardstock as my base and stamping with Totally Taupe for a no-line effect. Nuvo Crystal Drops and white gel pen add frosting details to this fun house that looks good enough to eat!

I used the amazing NEW So Many Squares stencil along with Bubbly Blue, the NEW Amazing Azure and Magical Midnight Krafty Kolours Inks to create a wonderful background for my card! I decorated those sweet trees with white embossing powder 'snow' and this month's NEW Dazzling Dots. I found some gingerbread Sprinklets in my stash and used the cute little gingerbread men, candycanes and peppermints to add to the scene. The Merry Christmas sentiment is from last month's A Crackin' Holiday stamp set!

Kraftin’ Kimmie Stamps October Sneak Peeks Day 2- Wish Upon A Star!

Welcome back to Day TWO of the Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps October Krafty Peeks! Are you excited about what you've seen so far!?  Are you ready for more? I hope your answer was yes because we've got more fabulous holiday fun for you today!

The stamp set we are 'peeking' for you today is the second set this month from artist Sabrina van Vloten and it's called WISH UPON A STAR!! This adorable set features some sweet little Christmas angels! There are four angels, a bunch of little musical note accessory stamps plus a couple of coordinating sentiments!!  How CUTE!

Check out WISH UPON A STAR in so many gorgeous creations today as you hop around the Krafty Team's blogs!  You'll also see the new stencils, hybrid ink and krafty dots along the way! I'm sharing a mini slimline card with this sweet set, creating an ombre background with Stormy Sky, NEW Amazing Azure and Bubbly Blue Krafty Kolours Inks. 

I then added some of the awesome music notes included in the stamp set and some white Dina Wakley Spray Gloss splatters. I coloured the adorable angels with Copics and popped them up on the scene. There are really so many fantastic ways you could colour these guys up!!

I heat embossed the tree shaped sentiment with white embossing powder on a scalloped banner die that I thought looked like a Christmas tree when it was upside down! I cut a little tree trunk and added it to a some snowy hills. Some of the fantastic NEW Dazzling Dots decorate the base! I think this card would be wonderful for anyone who loves music or angels! 

You'll see more of our October goodies tomorrow and then everything will be released after our LIVE Online Release Party on Saturday afternoon at 2pm ET in the Krafty Friends facebook group!
