I stamped her up with Totally Taupe Ink on watercolour paper and coloured her in with Zig Clean Colour Real Brush Markers. I love the P13 Stitched With Love paper pack and used it for the card background and for her sweet little toque! 

I pulled out my sewing machine and used some stitched dies to add even more stitching effects. I stamped the sweet sentiment in Purple Pansy Ink and added on some diecut ephemera pieces from my stash. A few Krafty Dots finished things off!

I coloured up the cute kitty with Copic Markers in a calico pattern. I love how her little mouse friend is snoozing right alongside her! 

I drew a thought bubble on white cardstock and fussy cut this lovely image from a P13 Happy Birthday paper pack, stamping the Purr-fect Friends sentiment from the set directly on it. I'm imagining this kitten is dreaming of giving a special birthday cake to her bestie - maybe Mr. Mouse himself! I added three Krafty Dots in various sizes and popped up the dreamy bubble with foam tape.

I also added in two more fun stamps sets on this card! I coloured two of the awesome cactuses from Lookin' Sharp as well as three tiny flowers from the That's A Wrap Set! There are so many sets that you'll be able to pair this sleepy duo with.  I hand drew a cozy little mat for them to have their nap on and used a diecut cardbase of that wonderful P13 Paper.

Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps November Skrappy Challenge!

Good morning krafty friends! It's November and that means it's time for a brand new SKRAPPY CHALLENGE with Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps! The theme of course is ANYTHING BUT A CARD! For this challenge you can make anything that strikes your fancy....except a card! I decided to make a couple cute Christmas tags for this project today - because we all know you can't have too many extra tags when you start wrapping those gifts! I'm using the adorable Shake It Up and coordinating Shake It Up Polar Bears Stamp Sets for these sweet tags.

 I started off by diecutting the snowglobe gift tags from P13 Four Seasons Winter paper and then stamping the adorable images. I coloured them in with Copic Markers and added some white gel pen highlights. I really love all the cute accessories in these stamp sets - I added the sweet antler headband to my little bear and gave him a bright red polka dot scarf. 

I stamped a little sentiment banner for each tag using Kraftin' Kimmie Krafty Kolour Inks and threaded some pretty Christmasy twine through the top. I finished off each tag with some tiny red Seashore Krafty Dots and added a few Sprinkletz snowflakes. I'm sure these will make my gifts even more special! 

So design a new scrapbook page, bookmark, tag, altered item, planner page, art journal, ATC cards...whatever you like! Just make sure to include some Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps products and make sure it's a new creation! As soon as we have at least five people playing along, we'll be giving away a $10 gift voucher to the krafty shop as the monthly prize!

Mixed Media Fall Tag with Video! Watch now!

 Hello friends! I thought I would pop in to share the project I created Live on the Creative Scrapbooker Magazine Facebook Page yesterday! We made a mixed media fall tag with some new Wild Whisper goodies (don't forget to use the code DTKARLA to save 10% off at the Wild Whisper Shop 😉), Tim Holtz Distress Oxide Sprays and Inks, Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps Krafty Kolours Inks and P13 paper!! 

You can follow the steps I used to make any mixed media tags - I'm definitely going to do these up for Christmas and Winter!! 

I even used up the extra ink spray to colour coordinate a seam binding ribbon and a separate tag that we used for diecuts and stamping!

Hello friends! I'm over on the Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps blog today with a fresh fall card - perfect to celebrate cooler weather - and I'm thinking you could even tuck a coffee gift card for a special teacher inside!
