Hello! If you've been following along with me for a while you'll know I'm usually lucky enough to get to put together the gorgeous kits from Simple Stories from Scrap Shotz! Simple Stories has really done a great job of putting together their collections over the past year into kits that retailers can provide that include everything you need to sit down and make a gorgeous album or layout or card set. You use your own adhesive, ruler, scissors and trimmer, but all the paper elements as well as instructions are included. It's a fun project to sit down and complete in an afternoon. Well, today I'm sharing the beautiful Heart Collection Binder Kit. This is a wonderful album you'll be able to use to keep memories of someone who was special to you.
I've done a complete flip through of this album, which only took a few hours to do. You can watch the VIDEO below.
Thanks so much for stopping by! Be sure to check out the Scrap Shotz Store where you can find this Simple Stories Heart Collection Binder Kit, and have a really awesome week!!
Hello! It's officially summer... the kids have worn their bathing suits 5 out of 7 days this week, lol. I'm over on the Gerda Steiner Designs blog today sharing a super cool summer card using the adorable Surfing Duck digital stamp. This card came together perfectly with the July SCT Sampler Pack goodies using the Simple Stories Sunshine & Blue Skies collection included. Don't you just love it when you find the perfect paper to match an image or photo!! I coloured this cutie up with Copics and added some Lawn Fawn sand and wave diecuts to create a little scene.
Thanks so much for stopping by today! Be sure to head over to the Gerda Steiner Designs blog to see closeups and details - and check out the GSD Shop for lots of fun images, both clear and digi, to get you creating! Have an awesome week friends.
Hello! I'm popping in today to share two new collections by Wild Whisper Designs! These girls have come up with fantastic collections this month, as always, and I am so excited to be using two of them over the summer. The first one I'm showing off is the Road Trip Collection. It's a wonderful set of papers, ephemera, stamps, cards, metal elements, sequins, cut files and flair just perfect for your summer road trip adventures! Be sure to scroll to the bottom to see a video of everything I'll be working with.
The other gorgeous collection is created by Pam Bray and Wild Whisper - Watercolor. Pam is such a talented designer, and I'm so excited to work with some of her paper! This paper is amazing, and is available in a 6x6 size and double packs. She has a second collection, Nature's Bliss, which is equally beautiful!
Here's the back side of each of the above papers. The hardest part is going to be deciding which side to use 😉
Here's a look at the video where you can see it all close up!

Hello! Well things have been moving fast over the summer here with the kids out of school, but obviously slow on my blog! We've been doing lots of summer activities around our neighborhood and even went camping this past week. I really enjoyed taking to the time to create this cute snail mail card using the super sweet Snail Mail Digital Stamp from Gerda Steiner Designs.
I coloured the image with Copic Markers and added some white gel pen highlights. I used a nesting heart die from Sizzix that adds pierced holes around the edge. I just love sitting and stitching and this was so easy and relaxing! I used a Tim Holtz envelope die from the Valentine Sidekick set and added some Glossy Accents to the hearts. A few sequins scattered around the shaped card add just a little more bling!

Hello! I hope you've all been having a lovely summer! We were actually just camping this week and went to the same campground - Little Bow- here in Alberta, that I'm featuring on the layout for Wild Whisper this week using the brand new release Road Trip. I just love this collection! The licence plate stamp is one of my fav pieces - I love creating fun titles with it! Totally reminds me of the old game show Bumper Stumpers, lol!

Hello and Happy Canada Day to my Canadian friends!! We are celebrating today with a BBQ and some fun festivities put on by the city. I'm also over on the Scrap Shotz Blog today sharing a layout using the Scrap Shotz June 2019 Scrapbook Kit and available Add-Ons featuring the Heidi Swapp Wolf Pack Collection. I love the nature feel of this collection - I just want to get outside when I see it! I have some more photos of my girls at a local park and this time I really wanted to incorporate the purples in the photos, so I used some Distress Oxides and a Studio Katia stencil to bring the colour out.
