Hi friends! I'm over at the SpiegelMom Scraps blog today sharing a gift set that features an adorable purse made out of a 12x12 piece of patterned cardstock along with a coordinating shaker tag and a card - just perfect for someone sweet! Our theme this month is tools, and I grabbed a lot of fun tools to add neat elements to my projects. The purse was so fun and easy to do using this step by step video HERE. Scrap Shotz December Monthly Kit Club - Scrapbook Layout & Pocket Pages!
Hello! I'm back today to share the beautiful Scrap Shotz December Kit and some of the fabulous kit add-on's again, and today I've created a 12x12 layout as well as a pocket page layout for you! We live in Canada, and we get a lot of cold weather in the winter, so we might as well make the best of it and get out to do activities while we can. This kit, which includes lots of awesome elements from the Carta Bella Cabin Fever collection, is so perfect for all those winter pics!! On the first layout I used a sketch from one of the Scrapbookin' Adventures UYOP workshops and layered all the pretty elements from the Scrap Shotz kit.
For my pocket page I tucked my photos and decorated cards from the cut apart sheets into the Project Life Pockets.
If you missed last week's post showing my first project, as well as a process video and an unboxing video of the kit, you can find that HERE.
Thanks so much for stopping by today! Be sure to head over to the Scrap Shotz blog to see all the details and closeups on these two pages. To subscribe to the Scrap Shotz kit club, you can check out this month's kit at the store, and the coordinating add-on's can be found here by scrolling down to the December 2017 section. Today I’m sharing a cute Happy Holidays Christmas card from the Make It Now section in Cricut Design Space. I love the option of choosing a predesigned project for a quick and easy DIY. This card was so cute with the little tree on top of the car, and I choose some pretty Christmas papers to personalize it.
I added sparkly Confetti Stickles to the tree and sentiment as well as some shiny sequins from SpiegelMom Scraps.
Inside, I used the sentiment and stars stamps from the Oh Christmas Tree stamp set from Pretty Cute Stamps, our awesome sponsor this challenge! I embossed the stamps for extra detail on the red cardstock.

Bright Lights Blog Hop with Scrap 'N Stamp!
Hi friends! I'm really excited to be part of another awesome blog hop with the Scrap 'N Stamp team, and this month we are featuring the fantastic Lawn Fawn String Of Lights die set!! If you've come from Julia's Blog you're in the right place. If you want to start at the beginning, head over to see Tara at the Scrap 'N Stamp Blog. Wait till you see the amazing projects everyone creates with this lovely die set...
For my project today I've made a beautiful Christmas Twist & Pop card. I love how much fun you can have decorating this style of card! I used some Tim Holtz Christmas paper from his new 8x8 paper pad on the background of my card, as well as using two different patterns to diecut the little light bulbs from.
You get three different sizes of light bulbs in this set, which includes one that has the little highlight strip cut out and one that is a full bulb - so you can layer them or use them separate. You also get two different types of toppers in each size and the string, which is a lovely, twisty scroll. I decided to layer my bulbs and pop them up with foam dots between the layers. I added a bit of Glossy Accents on the highlight and some pretty SpiegelMom Scraps sequins. .
I used the pretty In The Making Cling NOEL stamp on top of the larger bulb diecut. This stamp is great as each letter is separate so there's no masking required. I used more of the Tim Holtz Christmas paper for the bulbs and background of the pop out section of the card. Along the bottom of the card I've layered another watercoloured house and snowy hill, leaving space to add my handwritten message.
Here's the Blog Hop line up:

I used Distress Crayons to watercolour in images from the Lawn Fawn Winter Village stamp set and used some Stickles on the snowy areas of the the homes. The Your Next Stamp Double Stitched Hills dies created a snowy background for my little scene, and I used the string die again along the bottom as a loopy scroll.
Here's the Twist & Pop effect when the card opens! So cool! If you want to see directions on how to make this card you can check out the details on this video HERE I made for another card in the same style.

Special Day YNS Troll BirthdayTag!
Hi! I just wanted to share a quick little tag I whipped up for a little friend who was celebrating a birthday recently. I just love this adorable troll from the Your Next Stamp Insanely Happy stamp set, and combined with the 'special day' sentiment from the Whatnot Sentiments Four it was just perfect for a little birthday girl's gift!
I used some Distress Inks on a manilla tag and created a bright background using colours from the YNS Colour Challenge #78 (see below for link). As you can see, even though these colours would be perfect for Christmas, they also work for this too. A few gems and flowers and this little troll is ready to party!
Here's a look at the colour challenge I used over at the Your Next Stamp blog. There is also a sketch challenge you can try out, separately or combined!
Thanks so much for stopping by today! I hope you're having a wonderful week and enjoying December. If you want to check out my Project Life App December Daily, be sure to follow me on Instagram where I'm posting them each day!!
