Hello friends! Sometimes I sure feel like I need to cover myself in sticky notes to remember everything I need to do, lol! This cute Post It Notes Panda Clear Stamp from Kitty Bee Designs is sure to do just that 😉 I'm sharing him over on the Kitty Bee Designs blog today, so I thought I'd share him with you here and give you all the details.
I used some pretty papers from the Whimsical collection by Paige Evans for Pink Paislee. I love that she has coordinating stickers! I stamped this cutie onto a background cut with a Sizzix die and coloured him in with Prismacolor and Copic Markers. A bit of Glossy Accents over the sticky notes adds such a neat effect.
Inside, I added a thank you sentiment using an Altenew stamp set and coordinating die. I used some of the new Tim Holtz Metallic cardstock to diecut the word and I loved how it turned out!
Thanks so much for stopping by! Hope you have a fantastic week friends!!
Hello friends! I'm over on the Southern Ridge Trading Company Blog today sharing this pretty coffee card with lots of fun techniques. Stenciling is always a favourite way to add detail and colour and the Intersecting Coffee Stencil reminded me of coffee as soon as I saw it. When you see the inside of the card, you'll know why! I also had fun foiling the Chipboard Primitive Stars. Foiling is such a fun technique to try, and even if you don't have a laminator you'll be able to do this!
Here's a look at the video where you can see the techniques up close.

Hi! I think I've been feeling the need for warmer Spring weather.... my creative ideas are flowing more toward rainbows, flowers and Spring-like projects. Even though I think it's a little ways away, it makes me feel better, so I'm sharing a pretty rainbow bear today with you using the Gerda Steiner Designs Birthday Bear Digital Stamp. He's so cute, and I think his cake looks good enough to eat!

Hello! I am so excited to share a pretty canvas with you that I created for the Canvas Corp Brands blog using the gorgeous 7gypsies Gypsy Seamstress Mixed Media Pad. I love vintage sewing ephemera, and this collection is full of just that! I'm always reminded of my grandmother, who loved to sew and draw my sister and me paper dolls, and this canvas was the perfect combination of those two things! Be sure to check out the video below where you can get a look at exactly what is in this beautiful Mixed Media Pad.
I used Mod Podge to add layers of the pretty papers to a canvas after inking the edges with Distress Oxide Ink, and I created some dimension by using foam tape and curling edges. This cute Julie Nutting paper doll was just perfect to add to the top of the canvas!
I used some Tattered Angels mists to add colour to the rick rack from my stash, and even added a vintage package of the rick rack that I found in my ribbon drawer. A bit of Glossy Accents added a realistic effect to the buttons and snaps I cut from the patterned papers.
Here's a look at everything you get in this beautiful Gypsy Seamstress Mixed Media Pad in the video below!

Hello! I sure hope it's warmer where you are... it just doesn't seem like this deep freeze in Alberta is going to let up anytime soon! I have been doing lots of crafting, which is awesome, though and I wanted to share a fun card kit from Scrapbook & Cards today - the Snowflake Waltz Card Kit that I was fortunate enough to win from their blog a couple weeks ago. It is full of beautiful winter and Christmas cardmaking supplies. Scroll down to find a link to the VIDEO where you'll find the full unboxing and a how I put together one of the cards. Erica, who's 7, also shows off her creation!
I was really excited to see the fun papers in this kit! They were ones I had my eye on this year, but just didn't pick up. And those gold Thickers are my fav!
I had fun creating two cards with this kit, and there are so many supplies that I will be creating lots more! I actually enjoy making Christmas cards when I have more time and don't feel rushed.
I pulled out a Hello Bluebird frame die to cut out cardstock and papers from the kit and pieced them together for the background of the first card. You can see how I put this card together on the video below.
This AC Luscious Cardstock is so pretty with a slight sheen!
For the second card I used some of those pretty gold Thickers and diecut ephemera from the kit.
The Thickers remind me of an embossed image! I added a few of my own Studio Katia gold gems.
The stamp set in the kit has some sweet sentiments and images!
Inside, I used the included stamp set to add a greeting.
Erica decided she'd like to create something too so she chose some of the pretty papers and embellishments and created her own card.
It is decorated just as elaborately on the inside!
Here's a video where you an see all the fun goodies included in this kit!
Thanks so much for stopping by today! Have a wonderful and warm week friends 💓
Hi Friends! I hope you've been having a lovely week so far! I've had lots of fun creating projects lately and here's one more for you! It's time for the midweek inspiration for Challenge #136 over at the Kitty Bee Designs Challenge Blog - Aloha Friday!
Challenge #136
Love & Valentines
Super big thanks to our sponsor for this challenge
For this week's challenge I decided to use the Love theme to create a wine wrap and gift tag set that could be given as a housewarming gift. I used the cute blue house from the My Neighborhood digital stamp set with the sending love sentiment. This set is full of awesome neighborhood images, and you get the precoloured images along with black and white digis and several sentiments.
I diecut the preprinted house with a Sizzix oval die and layered it on a tag cut from a Paige Evans paper pad. These cool We R Memory Keepers brads added a neat element to the front.
I used some pretty embellishments from Buttons Galore to add some bling and added a little heart stamp on the door. I was able to colour the 'sending love' portion of the stamp by opening it with the Paint 3D program on my PC and clicking on the colour I wanted. A bit of Distress Oxide Ink around the edge adds some interest.
I was easily able to customize the red and green houses by opening them in Paint 3D as well and simply clicking the colours I wanted. I then saved each individually and printed them out side by side in the word processing program I use.
I diecut a border around the house label and layered it on some papers from a Paige Evans Pink Paislee Paper Pad cut to fit around the bottle. I used a strip of double sided score tape to secure the wrap in place and added some more pretty bling from the Buttons Galore pack. Now I have a gift ready and waiting to deliver to a friend!

Hello and Happy Valentines Day 💓!! We are still in the midst of a cold snap here in Calgary, so we are celebrating with crafts inside today and of course a little chocolate 😉🍫 I'm sharing a pair of pretty watercolor Valentines on the Canvas Corp Brands Creative Studio Blog using some Tattered Angels Mists and Tattered Angels Mini Origins papers. These papers are great for watercolouring and have a fabric-like texture - so cool!
I stitched around the edges of the watercolour panel to give even more texture. Since I was featuring the coffee themed mini origins papers I chose coffee love stamps from my stash!
I added some watercolour diecuts misted with the Tattered Angels sprays and used Glossy Accents to highlight various areas of the cards.

Hello! Well, we are definitely in the middle of a cold snap here in Calgary, Alberta! It felt like -39*C here Sunday - not a day to spend much time outside! So, I have been not feeling guilty about staying in and crafting to say the least ;) Today, I'm over on the Scrap Shotz blog to share another layout using the fabulous February Scrapbook Kit. I just love the colours in this kit and the ability to mix and match. Just look at the purple layout I shared Friday, compared to the navy one with orange highlights today - all with the same kit!

Hello sweet friends! I just love seeing all the lovely new images available in the Gerda Steiner Designs shop, and today I'm sharing this super cute Umbrella Mouse digi with you. This cutie could be used for many different occasions, but I chose a get well sentiment from Pretty Cute Stamps to coordinate with it. I decided to do some paper piecing to give her a trendy umbrella, scarf and jacket - and I'm sharing just how to do that in a little tutorial on the GSD Blog.

Hello! I sure hope you have had a wonderful weekend and beginning to your week. It has been super cold here - today was -38 C. A good day to stay in and craft! I thought I'd share these adorable little Valentines Day cards using the sweet Lawn Fawn Let's Toast Stamp and Die set. There are so many cute little sayings that coordinate with the images in the set, perfect for creating these mini cards!!
I layered a piece of BoBunny paper diecut with a scalloped edge Pretty Pink Posh die on a piece of Lawn Fawn watercolour paper and then added the images and coordinating sentiments. Each card measures 3 1/2" square.
I used Copics and Prismacolor Markers, both alcohol based, to colour in all the images. I just love the cute little faces in the set!
I used Distress Oxide inks to add the PB and Jelly stamps to the toast... yum!
Inside, I stamped one of the cute sentiments from the set. Each card is the same inside, but is stamped in a different coordinating colour using Distress Oxides.
Thanks so much for stopping by! Keep warm and cozy friends 💜
