Hello friends! I sure hope you've had a wonderful week and are looking forward to the week ahead! I find the weekend goes so quick, but I do try to set aside some downtime for myself. My daughter had her 12th birthday party this weekend, and we had so much fun! It's certainly hard to believe how quickly time flies... I'm making some baby pages today and looking back at the girls when they were tiny, using some pretty chipboard pieces from Sourthern Ridge Trading Company along with a pretty heart stencil I am totally loving!
I decided to join the Scrapbook & Cards today SCT 2019 365 Online Class this year for a year full of inspirational sketches - so this is how I started this layout using the January sketch. Be sure to head over to the SRTC Blog to see closeups, a supply list and all the details on this layout! I hope you have an awesome week friends!

Hello! I'm popping back today to share a fun Traveler's Notebook layout that I created using some of the gorgeous Compose Your Life collection by Aga Baraniak. I love scrapbooking in traveler's journals so this was such a fun way to use these beautiful supplies! The girls wrote out their answers on a pretty journaling card and signed their names. I think this will be a fun page to look back on!

Hello! I hope you had a wonderful Christmas holiday! Today I'm over on the Kitty Bee Designs blog sharing a cute little card with you using the Honu Seabuddies Turtle Digi Stamp from Kitty Bee Designs. (If you ever don't see a particular stamp you're looking for in the shop, be sure to send a message through FB or the Etsy Store!)
I layered up papers and a pretty flower sticker from one of the SCT Sampler Packs, along with the lovely Paige Evans Turn The Page print in the center, and coloured up this sweet little turtle to match with alcohol based Prismacolor Markers. I cut the pretty polka dot background paper with a scalloped stitched die from Your Next Stamp.
I layered several diecuts of the Hello Bluebird 'hello' die to create a chipboard look and placed it on a rectangle cut with a Sizzix die. Now this sweet card is ready to send to a friend for any occasion!

Hi Friends! I hope you've been having a lovely week so far! I've had lots of fun creating projects lately and here's one more for you! It's time for the midweek inspiration for Challenge #134 over at the Kitty Bee Designs Challenge Blog - Aloha Friday!
Challenge #134 Winter Blues (anything Winter/Snow related)
Super big thanks to our sponsor for this challenge
For this challenge I'm using an adorable image from Star Stampz - the Cup Of Cocoa digi stamp. She's so cute bundled up in her sweet little jacket and looks so cozy drinking her yummy cup of steaming cocoa! I coloured her up with a combination of Copics and Prismacolor Markers and layered the image on oval stitched diecuts.
An older Simple Stories collection, Snow Fun, was just perfect to for a wintery feel for this card! I added a couple Studio Katia snowflake sequins and some pretty SpiegelMom Scraps sequins and stamped a little red heart, adding Glossy Accents for a pop of red.
Inside, I stamped a sentiment with a Concord & 9th stamp set and added a few more SpiegelMom Scraps sequins (don't forget to use the code KARLA15 to save 15% in the SMS Shop!)
Thanks so much for stopping by! Be sure to check out the Kitty Bee Designs Aloha Friday Challenge to see all the inspiration from the other awesome Design Team members - and enter your own project HERE for a chance to win!! Have a wonderful weekend!
Howdy! I'm am having so much fun creating Valentines, and these two adorable penguins could not have made it any easier!! I'm over on the Gerda Steiner Designs blog today using the super cute Penguin With Heart digital stamp. The great thing about digi stamps of course is being able to resize them quickly and easily, giving this guy a sweet little friend!
I used a z-fold design for this card and stamped the bottom of the card and inside with the Gerda Steiner Designs Valentine Penguins Clear Stamp Set (it's super cute too!) I used a Pretty Cute Stamp for the Be Mine sentiments stamped inside the penguin hearts. I added a few SpiegelMom Scraps sequins (PS use the code KARLA15 to save 15% off your SMS order!) for sparkle and shine.
Here's how to make the z-fold card base:
Cut a rectangle 4"x12" long and score it at 4" and 8" and fold it back and forth. Cut a diagonal line from the 4" fold at the back to a mark 2" down on the front of the card.
Thanks so much for stopping by today! Be sure to pop over to the Gerda Steiner Designs blog to get all the details on how I created this fun z-fold card and see the closeups. I hope you have an awesome rest of your week!
Hello friends! I hope you're week is starting out awesome! With Valentines approaching in the next month I've been having fun creating some pretty cards and today I'm sharing a card from the Southern Ridge Trading Company blog using their beautiful Heart-O-Graph Doily Chipboard and the 6x6 Heart Stencil. There is really anything you could imagine in the SRTC Shop!
Here's what the inside looks like and how pretty the envelope turned out stenciled with Distress Inks and the SR Heart Stencil.
You can see just how I put this pretty card together in this VIDEO here!
Thanks so much for stopping by! I hope you have an awesome week, and don't forget to head over to the Southern Ridge Trading Company blog for details, supply list and closeups 💓
Well, I certainly hope you all had a great New Years! I feel like it's been ages since I posted, but I have been working on lots of fun things!! The girls went back to school today, and we were busy, but not crazy, over our holidays. I think we were all pretty much ready to get back to routine today, though I could definitely have slept an extra hour or two ;) Last month I was lucky enough to win the Let's Toast Lawn Fawn stamp from the LF Blog when they posted their new releases! They mailed it right out to me and I picked up the coordinating dies and Pull Tab add-on dies so I could get a head start on my Valentine Cards. Let me tell you, these are so cute! The pull tab is quick and easy to figure out and I had fun putting it together. I definitely wanted to share these two cute cards with you along with a video so you can see how they came together.
I just love how this little poptart peeks out of the toaster! I coloured the images with Copics and Prismacolor Markers and layered them on patterned paper by Pink Paislee/Paige Evans and Pink Fresh Studio for nontraditional Valentine colours.
The little faces that come in the set are adorable, and the sentiments are so punny!
Here's a look at the video where you can see it in motion!
And here's a bonus second card I created with this set, turning it into a Thank You card!
I love that the pop up mechanism works with both the poptarts and the toast! Here I used some pretty heart paper from Paige Evans' newest Whimsical collection.
You could turn this into a Hello card, Happy Birthday or Valentine!
The cute cheeks come as a stamp that fits perfectly - I always have to add rosy cheeks, so I definitely love these!
Inside, I added a gift card holder cut with a Sizzix/Tim Holtz die and a Thanks sentiment cut from a Sizzix die.
Thanks so much for stopping by today! I hope you have a fantastic week, and would love to know if you're thinking about creating Valentine Cards yet. 💗
