For this challenge you can make anything that strikes your fancy....except a card! So design a new scrapbook page, bookmark, tag, altered item, planner page, art journal, ATC cards...whatever you like!
Here's some fabulous inspiration this month!
I created bookmarks with my Cricut for this challenge and stamped them with the Happiness Is Reading sentiments!
I seem to have lots of ephemera in my stash, lol, so I grabbed paper flowers and butterflies to accent the bookmarks.
I added some pretty stickers and washi to finish them off! These were then bundled up and sent off to Kraftin' Kimmie for her birthday! She is an avid reader, so I know she'll love them!!
Just make sure to include some Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps products and make sure it's a new creation! As soon as we have at least five people playing along, we'll be giving away a $10 gift voucher to the krafty shop as the monthly prize!
You have until Monday, March 6th to enter, and you can submit as many new creations as you like for more chances to WIN! Also be sure to share your designs on the Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps' Krafty Friends facebook page because we love to see your stuff!

PLUS you'll see some of the other goodies in action....like our new stencils, new ink and new Krafty Dots! I decided to create a wonderful Halloween box card using my Cricut Maker and a Box Card in Design Space (#M504CC66), which is included in Cricut Access. These are fun because they open up to create a 3D scene, but fold closed to fit into an envelope for mailing! If you don't have an electronic cutting machine there are lots of tutorials on-line too!
I stamped all my images with Totally Taupe Ink for a no-line effect and coloured them in with Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers. I layered them to fit on the inserts so that they appear staggered - there are so many fun images and accessories that this set is perfect to create awesome scenes with!
I used the tiny star included in the set to stamp inside some of the circles on the Simple Stories Say Cheese Halloween paper I used. I love the books from the stamp set - you can lay them flat or stand them up! Super cool!
I stamped the spooky sentiment in our NEW TEMPTING TANGERINE Ink and added more of the tiny stamps included - how cool would these be to create your own patterned paper!!
Here's the Day 3 Sneak Peek Video where you can see this fantastic set and the card I made close up!
We've also got a sketch for you! If you're needing a little inspiration, feel free to use this awesome sketch anytime this month!

Hello! I have an exciting card to share with you from the Wild Whisper Blog today! I pulled out the Masculine Collection from Wild Whisper and my Cricut Maker and got busy making a card for my husband's...50th birthday! He's an amazing guy, and we are so lucky to have him, and he really does rock - so this card was perfect!!
Inside, I used a frame cut from one of the 12x12 pages and stamped it with a birthday sentiment. I really am loving using my Maker to cut shaped cards and then putting my own touch on them!
Thanks so much for stopping by! You can find the cutfiles on Cricut Design Space HERE ready to customize, and be sure to use the code DTKARLA to save 10% in the Wild Whisper Shop. All the details as well as closeups can be found on the Wild Whisper Blog. Have an amazing weekend friends!

I've created two cards today with this awesome set and have a VIDEO linked below for you to check out!! I stamped out the beautiful images on Copic friendly paper with Wicked Black Krafty Kolours Ink and used Copic Markers to colour them to match some pretty Pinkfresh paper.
I used Bubbly Blue Krafty Kolours Ink (on sale this month!) to brush on the Chubby Clouds Stencil in the background - keep reading to see this awesome stencil up close!
I just love the sentiments included in the set, and I stamped this one with our NEW Magical Midnight Ink (see below). I based this card on February's sketch, which you can see in this post here.
For the second card I used the same papers and colour scheme and, just as I did for the first card, I stenciled the awesome new Fabulous Feathers Stencil with some glittery paste I had in my stash. I am definitely going to be using these stencils a lot!!
I added a hello sentiment, diecut with my Cricut Maker and coloured it with the new Magical Midnight Ink. I seriously love this colour!

Hello friends! We are all getting so excited for Christmas at our house, and I had a lot of fun taking a little crafty time to create a pretty wall hanging stocking using goodies from the Southern Ridge Trading Company Shop. This would make a great project for the whole family to create - customizing a stocking each and maybe adding a name or initial. You can find the full step by step tutorial on the Southern Ridge Trading Company Blog!
I used some sparkly ArtQuest Stargazers Watercolor Paints to give the chipboard pieces a shiny coat of colour. A few cute elements from the Tim Holtz idea-ology Mini Christmas Ephemera peek out of the decorated stocking. Of course I added some beautiful sequins from Studio Katia and glittery Stickles!
I added some puffy Liquid Applique to the Noel sentiment, which puffs up when heated with a heat gun, and the pearly white paint added a beautiful sheen to the chipboard snowflake. The red patterned Cricut vinyl was quick and easy to add to the stocking!
Thanks so much for stopping by! You can find the full tutorial and supply list on the Southern Ridge Trading Company Blog. Hope you are having a fabulous start to December!!
Hello! I am so excited to finally have a Cricut Maker!! I was lucky enough to find it on TSC, which is the Canadian Shopping Channel, and I used a 20% off coupon, making it super affordable with their interest-free payment plan! I previously had an Explore, which I loved, but I felt this was the right time to upgrade and take advantage of the new features the Maker has, including the ability to cut fabric easily with the rotary blade! With a birthday present needed for a little boy having a baseball themed party I thought this was the perfect time to break it open and get going. My daughter, Erica, who is 7 really enjoyed helping make this present for her little friend, and I enjoyed the crafting time with her!
Here's a look at the VIDEO where I'll show you step by step how easy it is to create two quick, easy, personalized gifts.
I was surprised and so pleased at how easily the Cricut Maker Rotary Blade cut through fabric! This was a white fleece material and I was a bit worried about how much residue it might leave on the fabric mat, but it came off completely clean. The Everyday Iron-On adhered perfectly to the fleece and we stitched up the pillow in no time.
Erica's friend was so excited to get his new shirt, and she thought it was an awesome gift to give! She was so proud of the fact that she helped to make it.
Thanks so much for stopping by! I'd love to know if you have an electronic cutter, and if so, which one? Have an awesome crafty week friends!
Hello! I'm back today to share a sweet little no fuss diecut cactus and DIY plant pot. I really do love having plants in my house, but... and not for lack of trying... they never survive 😢 It is really safer for all those sweet plants out there if I stick to the faux variety, lol. So, I decided to craft a cute cactus from a Cricut cut using my Cricut Explore. Of course, this little guy needed a lovely home, so I repurposed a clay pot I had laying around my house with theTattered Angels Naturally Aged Paint System Bare Metal Weathered Bronze. This is a super cool set of 4 paints/mists that combine to create a bronzed metal look. When combined with the clay pot it looks so awesome!
I used the Cricut Cartridge Cactus Love to cut this sweet 3D plant. It is really easy to put together. I added a Prima Flower and a little cork butterfly with some gems and sequins from Buttons Galore. I happened to have a styrofoam cone in my stash and cut it down to fit inside the pot. Instead of leaving it white I added some Tattered Angels Kraft High Impact Paint and then covered it with Emerald Creek's Baked Texture Dirty Sand Embossing Powder by Seth Apter. I love when I can use a product for more than its intended purpose, and this Dirty Sand Powder looks amazingly like sand when it's dry! I just sprinkled it on and glued it down with some tacky glue before adding my cactus.
I've been experimenting with cutting vinyl with my Cricut more - I know, that's not anything new, but for some reason I thought it was harder than it was! I'm really loving it and thought this free hugs was super cute! It's from the Humming In My Garden cartridge.
You can see how everything came together in the full process video HERE or click below:

Here is our blog hop list for Mother's Day challenge #300!
For my project today I've created a pretty diecut Mother's Day card and matching tag using the Cricut Alphabet set! I was so excited to come across this set in Design Space, and it was free, which is awesome! I used one of the scalloped circle bases to create my card front and welded two bottom layers to create a scalloped card base.
I grabbed some Distress Inks to add a bit of shading around the edges of my diecuts and layered them together, popping up the pretty flower.
Inside, I used the 'write' feature with one of the Cricut Signature Script fonts and then coloured in the letters with a Jane Davenport Mermaid Marker. I used some pretty sequins from SpiegelMom Scraps both on the front of my card as well as inside.
This lacey cut was perfect to create a tag, and I added two circles to the front so I could write a little message. I added some pretty pink twine and a few more sequins to finish it off.
BLOG CANDY!! I'm also offering a sweet prize - a $10 gift certificate to the SpiegelMom Scraps shop!! I will be choosing one person to win from everyone who leaves a comment on this blog post. Winner to be chosen from comments left by Saturday May 13th at 11:59 MST, and will be announced Monday May 15th - so be sure to check back!
